Bangladesh on development highways: Ranga

NARAYANGANJ, May 15, 2018 (BSS) - State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives M Mashiur Rahman Ranga today said Bangladesh is moving towards the development of highways under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

"Successful continuation of the present government, the country is now moving towards the development of highways," he said this while visiting in an under construction Cooperatives Bank Complex here.

Ranga said Bangladesh was passed glorious period during Hussein Mohammad Ershad's regime and now Prime Minister Sheikh lifted the country on the development highways globally with her successful leadership.

He said the cooperatives bank has been implementing various income generating programmes on vision 2021 for improving lifestyle of the cooperative members as only the financial institution.

The state minister said the Cooperative Bank building is being constructed with Taka 32 crore and around 95 percent construction work has already been completed.

The building would play positive impact for improving social condition of the cooperative members of Narayanganj district.

Among others, Chairman of Cooperative Bank Mahiuddin Ahmed and Registrar of Cooperatives Department M Ahsan Kabir were present.
