Nobanna Utsab in city tomorrow

DHAKA, Nov 14, 2017 (BSS) - People of all strata will celebrate the 'Nobanna Utsab', the Bengali harvest celebration in the month of Agrahayan, in a festive manner in the city tomorrow.

Jatiya Nobanna Utsab Udjapan Parishad has chalked out a day-long programme marking the festival.

Advisor Editor of the daily Janakantho, Toab Khan will inaugurate the programme at Bakultola in front of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Dhaka University (DU) at 7:01 in the morning.

Later, a rally will be brought from the Faculty at 9 am which will parade different streets of the university.

The second phase of the festival will begin at 3 pm at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Rabindra Sarobar Muktamanch in Dhanmondi.

Besides, an art camp will also be held at the Faculty of Fine Arts where 20 eminent artists will take part.
