President, PM greet President of Ghana on Independence Day

DHAKA, Bangladesh, Mar 5 (BSS) - President M Zillur Rahman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have greeted President Professor John
Evans Attamills of Ghana on the occasion of the Independence Day
of that country.

In separate messages to the President of Ghana on the eve of the day, the Bangladesh President and Prime Minister expressed the conviction that the existing friendship between the two countries would further strengthen in the days ahead.

They wished good health and happiness for the President and
peace, progress and prosperity for the people of Ghana. President
Zillur Rahman, in his message, said, "I am convinced that the

existing relations that exist between our two countries will
further be strengthened and consolidated to the mutual benefit of
our two peoples in the days to come."

In her message, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, "It is my
firm conviction that the existing bonds of friendship between our
two countries will further be reinforced to the mutual benefit of
our two people in the days ahead.

She hoped that the two governments would work closely to this
end.
