DHAKA, May 16, 2018 (BSS)- An 11-membar committee has been formed to improve the standard of diagnosis system of diagnostic centres and also monitor the cost of examinations in those outlets for ensuring better health services.
Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim today formed the committee headed by Additional Secretary (Hospital) at a meeting on developing pathological tests at Secretariat, said a press release.
The committee comprised four members from government hospitals and six from private hospitals.
The minister suggested the committee to submit its draft report within next 45 days.
Additional Secretary (Hospital) of the ministry Bablu Kumar Saha, Directorate General of Health Services Professor Dr Abul Kalam Azad, Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) President Dr Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin, Swadhinata Chikitsak Parishad (Swachip) President Dr Iqbal Arslan were present, among others.
