DHAKA, July 17, 2017 (BSS)- Chief Information Commissioner Professor Md Golam Rahman today said if the free flow of information could be ensured, transparency and accountability would increase at all levels of the country.

"Corruption will be reduced and good governance would be established if we can ensure the free flow of information at all levels," he said while inaugurating a two-day training programme on Right To Information (RTI) Act 2009 for community radio broadcasters at RTI auditorium here.

Information Commission organized the training in association with Fredric Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF).

Programme Director of Global Access to Information Lora Naumann addressed the inaugural function. Commission Director Bhuiyan Md Ataur Rahman and Deputy Director Dr Md Abdul Hakim are conducting the training.
