DHAKA, Dec 9, 2015 (BSS) - President Abdul Hamid has urged all, including individuals, institutions and organizations to work along with the government in protecting human rights in the country.

In a message on the eve of the International Human Rights Day, the President said he is happy to know that International Human Rights Day is being observed in Bangladesh as elsewhere in the world for upholding the fundamental rights of the people.

"The present government is pledge-bound to protect human rights and it has already formed National Human Rights Commission and enacted National Human Rights Commission Law-2009," he said.

The President said all internationally recognized human rights issues have been incorporated in the country's constitution.
