Bangladesh-UAE security coop deal gets cabinet nod
DHAKA, Oct 20, 2014 (BSS)- The cabinet today approved a proposal for signing of an agreement between Bangladesh and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) aimed at boosting cooperation on controlling crimes. "The Agreement on Security Cooperation between the Government of the United Arab Emirates and the Government of People's Republic of Bangladesh" was okayed at a regular cabinet meeting held at Bangladesh Secretariat with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair. After the meeting, Cabinet Secretary M Musharraf Hussain Bhuiyan briefed reporters. He said the deal will be penned during the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to the UAE.
