PM accorded warm reception at New York
NEW YORK, Sept 22, 2014 (BSS) - Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was accorded a warm reception as she arrived here this morning to attend the 69th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). An Emirates flight carrying the Prime Minister and members of her entourage reached J F Kennedy (JFK) at 10.20 am (local time). President assents to 16th Constitution Amendment Bill
DHAKA, Sept 22, 2014 (BSS) - President Abul Hamid assented to four bills, including The Constitution (Sixteenth Amendment) Bill, 2014, passed by the 10th Jatiya Sangsad in its third session. The other three bills are: The Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) Bill, 2014, The Bangladesh Atomic Energy Control (Amendment) Bill, 2014 and The Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) Bill, 2014, said a parliament secretariat press release today.
