President calls for developing youths as worthy citizens
DHAKA, Nov 01, 2014 (BSS) - President M Abdul Hamid yesterday urged all concerned to take necessary measures to develop the youth of the country as worthy citizens having education, human values and patriotism. In a message on the eve of National Youth Day-2014, he recalled the contributions of the Language Movement, the great Liberation War and other democratic movements and nation building activities and said the youth should be inspired in light of their glorious history. "The youth of today would once run the country and the nation's future depends on their efficiency," he said, and urged the youth to develop as efficient in all respects.
