Construction of Padma Bridge to be completed by 2017: Quader
DHAKA, April 18, 2014 (BSS) - Communications Minister Obaidul Quader today said the construction of the Padma Multipurpose Bridge will be completed by 2017. The work order of the main structure of Padma Bridge would be issued in June this year and both road and rail communication facilities will be available on it, he told the inaugural function of Nitol- Niloy Dhaka Motor Exhibition-2014 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre. \"Construction of link-roads of the Padma Bridge is nearly completed and hopefully we would be able to start its main structure very soon,\" the minister added.
