Cabinet okays MoU with India to check human trafficking
DHAKA, Sept 01, 2014 (BSS)- The cabinet today approved the draft of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Bangladesh and India on bilateral cooperation for prevention of human trafficking and rehabilitation of the victims of trafficking. The approval was given at the regular meeting of the cabinet held at Bangladesh Secretariat with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair. Briefing reporters after the meeting, cabinet secretary M Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan said the instrument is likely to be signed during ensuing visit of Indian home secretary to Bangladesh.
