Hearing in Khokon's trial ends, verdict any day
DHAKA, April 17, 2014 (BSS) - The hearing in the trial of Zahid Hossain Khokon, alias Khokon Razakar ended here today with the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 said it would pronounce the verdict on any day. Justice M Enayetur Rahim, chairman of the three-member panel of ICT-1, passed the order allowing a petition filed by Advocate Abdus Shukur Khan, state-appointed counsel for the absconding Khokon, seeking tribunal's permission to grant an application filed by him earlier as not placed before the court.
