DHAKA, Oct 06, 2018 (BSS) – Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon today said people of the country want to see continuation of the ongoing development process to build a happy and prosperous country.
“People of the country are leading a happy life as the present government has implemented various programnmes for building an economically advanced country,” he told a view exchange meeting with local people on premises of Arambag Girls School and College in the city, an official release said.
Menon said BNP is conspiring to foil the next general election as the party (BNP) understands their political bankruptcy. BNP would not participate in the upcoming parliamentary polls as the party would not able to win in the election, he added.
Former lawmaker Abdur Rahim, Joint Secretary of Dhaka City Unit of Awami League (AL) Kamal Chowdhury, Organizing Secretary Ashraf Talukdar and Motijheel thana unit of AL Bashirul Alam Babul, among others, addressed the meeting with President of ward number 9 unit of AL Mozammel Hossain in the chair.
