19 held in Habiganj
HABIGANJ, Oct 5, 2018 (BSS) – Members of the Department of Narcotics
Control (DNC) and police in separate drives arrested 19 persons including
eight wanted accused, 10 accused in regular cases and a drug trader from
different areas of the district in last 12-hour ending at 9am this morning.
Law enforcers also seized 185 pieces of Yaba tablets during the drives.
Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP-Media) Nazim Uddin said, they were
picked up from different areas of the district on different charges.
Several cases, including charges of subversive activities, are pending
with different police stations against the arrested persons, the sources
added.
The arrested were sent to jail.
