DHAKA, Sept 27, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)
forecasted light to moderate rain or thundershowers in some place across the
country in 24-hour as of 9am tomorrow.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty
wind is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh, Chattogram and
Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka,
Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the
country,” said a met office press release here this morning.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country
during the period.
The maximum temperature was recorded 36.0 degrees Celsius yesterday at
Jashore in Khulna division while today’s minimum was temperature 24.0 degrees
Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
The highest rainfall in the last 24-hour as of 6am today was recorded 51mm
at Cox’s Bazar in Chattogram division.
The sun sets at 5:50 pm today and rises at 5:49 am tomorrow in the capital.
