President witnesses progress of dev works in Kishoreganj

AUSTAGARM (Kishoreganj), Sept 25, 2018 (BSS) – President M Abdul Hamid, who
is on a five-day tour in different upazilas of the district, witnessed the
progress of development works of Austagram-Nawga and Austagram-Kastul-
Bhantshala Roads this morning.

The under-construction Austagram-Nawga will connect Chatalpar of B Baria
district through a bridge while Austagram-Kastul- Bhantshala roads will
connect Itna and Mithamain upazilas.

“This under-construction roads will connect three upazilas of Kishoreganj
easing road communication with the capital city Dhaka and other parts of the
country,” President’s press secretary Joynal Abedin told BSS.

President Hamid waved hands responding to the slogan of the people who were
standing roadsides. He also exchanged views with the people at Nawga village
situated on the border of Kishoreganj district.

Later, the President visited Austragram -Bhantshala road of Kastul, where
he also talked to the people and school kids who were waiting to see their
beloved President at glance.

He enquired about the wellbeing of them and sought blessings of them.

The President arrived here yesterday on a five-day visit.

This is the second visit of Abdul Hamid to his native village in the remote
area of Kishoreganj after he took oath as the President of the country for
the second consecutive term on April 24.
