COX’S BAZAR, Sept 24, 2018 (BSS) – Awami League General Secretary and
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today termed the ‘National
Unity’, an alliance forged by some political parties and later joined by BNP,
as a hotch-potch unity saying that it will not survive.

“The unity of Jukta Front, (Jatiya Oikya Prokriya) and BNP is actually a
mishmash unity. I don’t believe that their unity will survive,” he told
newsmen after inaugurating Puspodam restaurant in Cox’s Bazar.

AL Organizing Secretary AKM Enamul Haque Shamim, Cox’s Bazar district AL
president Advocate Sirajul Islam Mostafa and Asheq Ullah Rafiq, MP were
present on the occasion.

About BNP’s criticism over the AL’s road show programme from Dhaka to
Cox’s Bazar, the AL general secretary said BNP leaders got depressed as
thousands of people joined AL programmes.

Being depressed, BNP leaders are now talking nonsense, he added.

Quader said the people have trust in honesty, sincerity and achievements
of Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina, daughter of
Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

Because of that, the spontaneously participation of people has turned
the AL’s organizational trip into a human sea, he added.

The Awami League has arranged the road-show programme to showcase the
development activities of the present government and mobilise further the
party leaders and workers ahead of the next parliamentary election.
