Seminar on skin diseases held in city
DHAKA, September 23, 2018 (BSS) – Skin and sex diseases department of
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) today organised a seminar
on skin diseases at Dhaka Club auditorium in the city.
Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq was the chief guest of the
programme with BSMMU Pro Vice Chancellor (Research and Development) Professor
Dr M Shahidullah Sikder in the chair, said a press release.
State Minister for Rural Development and Cooperatives (LGED) M Mashiur
Rahman Ranga, Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) Dr. Mustafa Jalal
Mohiuddin, Professor AQM Sirajul Islam, Prof Ehsanul Kabir and Dr M Saiful
Islam Bhuiyan, among others, spoke on the occasion.
Renowned professors and dermatologists presented different papers on the
diseases and the way of solutions.
Over 200 skin experts took part in the seminar.
AKM Mozammel Huq said the government has introduced “Health Protection
Scheme” and committed to reach health facilities at every corner across the
country.
Ranga said the country has ensured door step service delivery and over
13,500 community clinics for people of the country.
