DHAKA, Dec 8, 2017 (BSS) – Twelve meritorious students of Jagannath Hall of Dhaka University (DU) have received “Jagannath Hall Gold Medal-2015” for their excellent academic performances.
The gold medal recipients are Amit Kumar Shaha for achieving CGPA-4 in Mathematics Department, Palash Saha in Sculpture Department, Rajib Adhikari in History Department, Rajesh Kumar Das in Information Science and Library Management, Rahul Chandra Saha in Education and Research, Sujit Kumar Bala in Applied Mathmatics, Kajal Chandra Pal in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, Chandan Kumar Das in Botany, Parth Pratim Mitra in Music Department, Prosenjit Halder Linguistic, Sanjay Biplob in Bangla Department and Shwapan Kumar Sana in Print Making Department, said a DU press release today.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman distributed the gold medal and certificates among the students as the chief guest at the TV room of October Memorial Bhaban in the campus on December 7.
These students who have received the Jagannath Hall Gold Medals for achieving highest brilliant result in honours graduate and masters final exams from different departments and institutes of the university in 2015.
