CHATTOGRAM, Sept 23, 2018 (BSS) – Two people were killed in a road accident
in front of city’s Panchlaish thana early Sunday.
The deceased were identified as auto rickshaw driver Mohammad Hanif, 41,
son of Mostafa Kamal of Halishahar Brick Field area and private car passenger
Fardin Hossain, 18, son of Abul Bashar Milon, hailed from Bata Goli area of
Nasirabad in the city.
The accident took place at the King of Chittagong Club (KCC) gate when a
microbus coming down from KCC hit a private car which was also going towards
the club and the auto-rickshaw was standing beside the road, said assistant
sub-inspector Alauddin Talukder of Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH)
police outpost.
The duo sustained critically injuries in the accident and they were rushed
to the CMCH where the duty doctors declared them dead, he added.
A case under process in this connection, he added.
