Iran army parade attack toll rises to 29 dead: state TV
TEHRAN, Sept 22, 2018 (BSS/AFP) – Twenty-nine people were killed on
Saturday when gunmen opened fire on an army parade in southwestern Iran,
according to a new toll given by state television.
“This terrorist attack has so far left behind 29 martyrs and 57 wounded,”
Mojtaba Zolnouri, a prominent member of Iran’s parliamentary national
security and foreign policy commission, said of the assault in the city of
Ahvaz, quoted by Arabic language state TV al-Alam.
