Speaker urges all to work jointly to ensure civic facility in grassroots
DHAKA, Sept 22, 2018 (BSS) – Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury today
urged everyone to work jointly to ensure civil facilities in the grassroots.
“The present government is working relentlessly to ensure balanced
development across the country and Pirganj is also witnessing it. Government
already implemented pledges it had made during 10th national election,” she
said.
The speaker said these while addressing a street rally organized on
Kutubpur Madrasa field in Mithipur union in Pirganj, Rangpur, today.
“Apart from constructing roads, bridges, culverts, schools, colleges,
Masjids and madrasas, the government has reached power to every household in
Pirganj. Country is marching forward under the leadership of Prime Minister
Sheikh Hasina,” she added.
Joint secretary of Ministry of Home Affairs Jahangir Alam Bulbul, district
Awami league senior vice-president Sayadat Hossain Bokul, municipality mayor
Tajimul Islam Shamim and Mithipur union chairman SM Faruk Ahmed were present
on the occasion, among others.
Earlier the speaker inaugurated the foundation stone of the five storied
building of Pirganj Central Jame Mosque.
