Bangladesh practices non-communal politics: Narayon

KHULNA, Sept 21, 2018 (BSS) – Fisheries and Live Stock Minister Narayon Chandra Chanda here said Bangladesh is now practicing non-communal politics under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

“Non-communal politics are being practiced in Bangladesh in last ten years during Awami League tenure and the country has already become a role model of development abroad,” he said.

He was addressing as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of five day long Radha Astomy in Boyarsingh area under Dumuria upazila of the district on Thursday evening.

Swami Bibekananda Maitree Sangha organized the function with its president Lila Rani Sarder in the chair.

The minister said there is no alternative but to bring back Awami League to power through vote for keeping the ongoing development spree of the country, adding that AL leaders and activists should be united before the upcoming national election in this regard.

District AL lawyers affair secretary Rabindranath Mondal, Atlia UP chairman Protap Roy and local AL leader Shahnewaz Zoarder, also addressed, among others.
