RANGPUR, Sept 20, 2018 (BSS) – Prime Minister’s Special Envoy and Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman Hussein Muhammad Ershad said his party will remain with the Awami League (AL)-led Grand Alliance if BNP takes part in the upcoming polls.
“Time has changed. JP will win the election if it remains with the AL-led grand alliance in the next elections,” he told journalists at Rangpur Circuit House here today.
“We have demanded 70 parliamentary constituencies for the Jatiya Party candidates,” he said adding that there is no bar for him to remain in the election time government.
Jatiya Party’s Co-chairman Golam Mohammad Quader, Rangpur City Mayor Mostafizar Rahman Mostafa, Rangpur city unit General Secretary of Jatiya Party SM Yasser and local leaders of the party were present.
