3 killed in separate incidents in Chattogram

CHATTOGRAM, Sept 18, 2018 (BSS)- Three people were Killed in separate incidents in the city and district today.

Among the victims, one was killed by electrocution, a building owner killed after falling from his under construction building and a pedestrian killed by road accident.

In the first incident, electrician Anwar Hossain, 40, was electrocuted while he was repairing an Air cooler in city’s Agrabad Commercial area around 10 am.

He was taken to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) but the attending doctors declared him death.

In the second incident, Khurshed Alam, owner of an under construction building, received serious injury after falling from his three-storey under construction building in Mogpukur area under Doublemooring thana in the city at about 11 am.

The attending doctors of CMCH declared him death after his admission at the hospital.

AKM Mohiuddin Selim, officer-in-charge of Doublemooring thana said the victim went there to visit and monitor the construction works of the building.

An unidentified pedestrian age about 40 received head injury when a Chattogram-bound passengers bus knocked him from behind in Fakirhat area on the Dhaka-Chattogram highway around 3 pm.

He was taken to CMCH but the duty doctors declared him death at about 5 pm today, said Alauddin Talukder of CMCH police outpost.

Three separate cases were filed in these connections.
