BRUR holds training programme for its security guards

RANGPUR, Sept 16, 2018 (BSS) – Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR)
held a training programme for its security guards to improve their
professional excellence, urging them to remain alert all the time for
ensuring peaceful atmosphere on the campus.

The training programme on ‘Service Rules and Regulation for University
Security Guards’ was held at Academic Building No-1 of the university on
Saturday, a press release said today.

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of BRUR organised it
participated by all security guards and security officers of the university.

Vice-chancellor of the university Professor Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah
attended the programme as the chief guest with Director of the university’s
IQAC Professor Dr Nazmul Haque in the chair.

Chairman of Accuracy International Bangladesh Engineer Lieutenant Colonel
(Retd) Md Monwarul Islam conducted the training programme as the main
resource person.

Assistant Proctor of the university HM Tarikul Islam and Head of the
Department of Statistics Dr Rashidul Islam also spoke.

The chief guest said adequate knowledge on the service rules and
regulations and security aspects is a must for the working security guards to
maintain law and order situation and congenial atmosphere in the university.

“The training programme will be helpful for the participating security
guards to be aware of the service rules and regulations and their
responsibilities to smoothly conduct duties,” he added.
