DHAKA, Sept 14, 2018 (BSS) – Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of
Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) has called upon all to work together for taking
benefit from the Blue Economy for developing the country.
The apex business body made the call on Thursday at a meeting of the
FBCCI Standing Committee relating to Ministry of Foreign Affairs
(International Organisations) held at FBCCI board room in the city, said a
press release today.
Chairman of the Standing Committee Kazi Khurram Ahmed presided over the
meeting while Director-in-Charge of the committee M Riyadh Ali and FBCCI
Director Hafez Harun-Or-Roshid, among others, were present on the occasion.
Speakers of the meeting laid emphasize on necessary cooperation from the
foreign ministry for the business community in international communication
and trade expansion.
They said that it is possible to contribute in the national economy by
utilizing Blue Economy through fishing, tourism and other relevant
activities.
