DHAKA, Sept 12, 2018 (BSS) – Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) today accorded
a reception to a couple of newly-joined officials and officers who were
transferred elsewhere recently from PMO with promotion.
Presided over by Prime Minister’s Principal Secretary Md Nojibur Rahman,
the reception ceremony was addressed by Prime Minister’s International
Affairs Adviser Professor Dr Gowher Rizvi as chief guest.
“All the hope and aspiration of Bengali nation were destroyed with the
murder of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman along with
most of his family members. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is implementing
those dreams of Bangabandhu,” Rizvi said.
“All the officials and staffs of PMO are part of a family. All have to
keep the bonding of this family intact,” he added.
Newly-appointed Director General (DG) of National Security Intelligence
(NSI) Major General Zobayer Hossain, outgoing DG of PMO and acting secretary
to Ministry of Industries Abdul Halim, newly-appointed DG of Special Security
Force (SSF) Major General Mojibur Rahman, PMO secretary Sajjadul Hassan, SSF
outgoing DG and Bangladesh Army CGS Lt General Shafikur Rahman and outgoing
DG of NSI and Bangladesh Army QMC Lt General Shamsul Haque also addressed the
function.
