SANGSAD BHABAN, Sept 11, 2018 (BSS) – Liberation War Affairs Minister
AKM Mozammel Haque today said the government constructed 2,960 houses
for Freedom Fighters (FFs) across the country.
“The government has undertaken a project for landless and insolvent FFs
with an outlay of Taka 271,11,95,000 aimed at rehabilitating FFs. The
project has been completed in June 2018,” he said this, while replying
to a starred question from treasury bench member Abdur Rouf of Kushtia-
4 in the Jatiya Sangsad.
The minister said that the government approved another project at a
cost of Taka 2,300 crore to construct houses for FFs, adding, “The
project is now under implementation.”
