DHAKA, Sep 11, 2018 (BSS) – The government today published a gazette notification declaring 45 percent dearness allowance (DA) for journalists, press workers and general employees of newspapers and news agencies as per the recommendation of the 9th wage board.
The Information Ministry issued a notification in this connection this evening saying, “The order will come into effect from March 1, 2018.”
The interim benefit will be adjusted with the new salary structure to be announced after the final recommendation of the wage board, the gazette added.
