DHAKA, Sept 11, 2018 (BSS) – Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed went to Vietnam to join World Economic Forum on ASEAN.
The three-day event beginning on September 11 is being jointly organized by the World Economic Forum and Vietnam, said a commerce ministry press release here.
The commerce minister is attending the meeting at the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Vietnam.
Leaders of ASEAN members and other countries, international organizations, academics and others are expected to join the event.
The Fourth Industrial Revolution and its potentiality and barriers as well as social, economic, political, trade and commerce are on the agenda of the meeting.
Tofail Ahmed is due to meet the Prime Minister of Vietnam and ministers of some countries on the sidelines of the meeting.
He is likely to retun home on September 14.
