Pakistan will take on their arch-rival India in the second semi-final of the championship scheduled to be held tomorrow (Wednesday) at Bangabandhu National Stadium here. “We’re confident we will play our best game tomorrow against India to go to the final … we have very good experience and hope both the teams will come out strongly,” Saddam said at a pre-match press conference held on Tuesday at the conference room of Bangladesh Football Federation. He said they are taking the match against India with great importance after reaching the semi-final. The Pakistan skipper also claimed that they have been able to surprise the South Asian countries playing good football in the championship because they were not in a good shape. Pakistan head coach Antonio Nogueira also expressed his optimism on winning the match against India by saying that he is very excited for the semi-final and want to go to the final. However he admitted that India is an organized team having very good defense and their quality is praiseworthy but his boys must try to stop India. Indian national football team’s assistant coach Shanmugam Venkatesh said though Pakistan is a very serious rival but they are taking it only as a match.
