DHAKA, Sept 11, 2018 (BSS) – Fisheries and Livestock Minister Narayon
Chandra Chanda today released various species of fish fry in the pond of
Jagannath Hall at Dhaka University (DU).
Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock and Fisheries Department jointly
organised the programme.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the programme.
Fisheries and Livestock Minister Narayon Chandra Chanda addressed the
programme as the chief guest while Jagannath Hall Provost Dr. Asim Sarkar
presided over the function.
Senior officials of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, teachers and
students of DU, residents of Jagannath Hall, among others, were also present
on this occasion.
