Development concerts launched in 20 districts
DHAKA, Sept 10, 2018 (BSS) – The Cultural Affairs Ministry and the District
Administration have jointly launched development concerts “Aprotirodhya
Agrajatray Bangladesh” to project development activities of the country.
Alongside concerts, documentaries on people welfare-oriented and
development activities are being screened to the people, an official release
said. Besides, documentaries on 10 special initiatives of Prime Minister
Sheikh Hasina were also screened at the concert programme.
People of all levels flocked to the development concerts to enjoy the
programmes. Artists of national and local levels performed at the functions.
The concerts were held in Narsingdi on September 1, Manikganj on September 6
and Cumilla on September 8.
Besides, concerts will be held in Noakhali on September 13 while it will be
held in Lakshmipur and Bhola on September 15 and 17 respectively.
The concerts will also be held in Netrokona, Tangail, Sirajganj, Kushtia,
Jhenaidah, Chuadanga, Khulna, Rajbari, Joypurhat, Panchagarh,
Chapainawabganj, Gaibandha, Kurigram and Nilphamari.
