World Suicide Prevention Day tomorrow
DHAKA, Sep 9, 2018 (BSS) – World Suicide Prevention Day will be observed tomorrow in the country as elsewhere across the globe in a befitting manner.
This year’s theme of the day is ‘Working together to prevent suicide’.
Marking the day, an awareness programme will be held at Dhaka University (DU) campus. State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Shri Biren Sikder will present as the chief guest.
Brighter Tomorrow Foundation (BTF) and the Great Bangladesh Run in association with Universal Medical College Hospital will arrange the running programme titled ‘Running to save life’ at 6am at Aparajeya Bangla.
BTF also arranged an art camp comprised with prominent artists and a three-day art exhibition on September 14 at Gallery Chitrak at Dhanmondi in the capital.
Brighter Tomorrow Foundation President Shipra Zaman Joysree requested all to attend the programmes.
