Bangladesh, India relation will remain inseparable: Shringla
JHALOKATI, Sept 09, 2018 (BSS)- Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Harsh Vardhan Shringla today said the relation between Bangladesh and India will remain inseparable forever.
“India will remain beside Bangladesh during its well and woes…The relation of the two countries will be everlasting,” he said, speaking at a civic meeting at the Kabiguru Rabindranath Degree College in Kuriana Union of the district.
Earlier, Shringla visited the floating guava markets in Kuriana and Bhimruli areas.
He said Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the then Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi sowed the seed of good relation between Bangladesh and India. “Now, the relation has further been strengthened under the leadership of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” Shringla added.
First Secretaries of the Indian High Commission Rajesh Uke and Nabanita Chakrabarti accompanied him during the visit.
