QUADER-TRAIN-CAMPAIGN TWO LAST DHAKA

Another rally was held at Natore with AL district unit president Professor Abdul Quddus, MP, in the chair.

Quader told the rally that his party will nominate the most popular leaders to contest in the next polls. “Awami League President Sheikh Hasina has the report on all activities of the party leaders…Five reports have been submitted so far,” he added.

The road transport minister said Awami League believes in positive politics while BNP is doing negative politics every time. The countrymen have rejected BNP as the country became champion five times during their regime, Quader added.

He said there is no reason for the people to vote for BNP again. They do only the politics of arson, looting and corruption, he said.

He said BNP could not wage any movement in the last 10 years and they will not be able to wage any movement in the next two months.

Later, the street rallies were held at Bogura, Joypurhat, Dinajpur and Nilphamari.

Talking to reporters at the Kamalapur Railway Station before his departure, Quader said the aim of the train journey is to reach the message of development works carried out by the AL government to the grassroots level and strengthen the party.

The organisational activities of the party will play an important role in making the grassroots people aware about the rumour politics of BNP and Jamaat, he said.

Quader, also the Road, Transport and Bridges minister said, “This journey is our election journey. The tour will continue. We’ll launch campaign on September 13.”

He said, “The upcoming election will be a competitive one and we’ve to take preparations considering this. If there’s any internal dispute, we’ve to resolve it. This campaign is to revitalize the grassroots leaders.”
