RANGPUR, Nov 22, 2017 (BSS) – A seminar on ‘Research Methodology’ was held at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) here today.
Dr Wazed Research and Training Institute (DWRTI) of the university organised the seminar at its virtual class room of academic building no-2 in the campus, said a press release.
Director of DWRTI and Vice-chancellor of BRUR Professor Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah formally inaugurated the seminar.
Scientific Officer of DWRTI Abu Sayem Md Ahsan Habib delivered welcome speech narrating objectives of the seminar moderated by its Senior Scientific Officer Dr Prasannojit Sarker.
Professor of the Department of Sociology of Dhaka University Dr Monirul Islam Khan conducted the seminar.
Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies of BRUR Professor Ferdous Rahman addressed.
Research fellows and officials of DWRTI, teachers and students of different departments of the university participated in the seminar.
Dr Monirul Islam discussed about various aspects of research methodologies and importance of conducting research to ensure quality and standard of higher education.
He also answered various questions asked by the participants and forwarded suggestions for conducting research activities successfully.
Professor Kalimullah hoped that the seminar would help the participants in conducting research activities adopting effective methodologies to get better results and enrich their knowledge.
