Workshop on DNA barcode begins today at JU
SAVAR, Sept 5, 2018 (BSS) – A two daylong workshop on DNA barcode began
today on the Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus here.
JU Zoology department organised the workshop at the DNA barcode
laboratory at the department.
Dean of JU Biological Faculty Professor Abdul Zabbar Hawlader inaugurated
the workshop as the chief guest this morning.
Presided over by Chairman of the department and the Sub-Manager of the
DNA Barcode project Professor Monwar Hossain, Professor Dr. N. Senthilkumar
of Mizoram University presented keynote speech at the event.
A total of 8 teachers of different universities of the country attended
the function.
Over 70 teachers and the students of the department are taking part in
the workshop.
