Govt signs deal with REHAB to create skilled manpower thru training
DHAKA, Sept 5, 2018 (BSS)- The Skills for Employment Investment Programme (SEIP) under the ministry of the Finance Ministry today signed an agreement with Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) to create skilled manpower through training.
SEIP Executive Project Director (additional secretary) Jalal Ahmed and REHAB President Alamgir Shamsul Alamin signed the agreement of behalf of their respective organizations in the SEIP conference room at Probashi Kallyan Bhaban in the city, said a press release.
REHAB Vice President (First) Liakat Ali Bhuiyan, REHAB Director and Training Institute Standing Committee Chairman Engineer Md Al Amin and Director Dr Masuda Siddiqie Rozi, among others, were present in the function.
As per the agreement, REHAB will provide training to 5,000 workers in five trades in the first phase while SEIP will provide Taka 20 crore to REHAB for the purpose.
