Netrakona accident kills four
Four killed, two injured in Netrakona road accident
NETRAKONA, Sept 01, 2018 (BSS)-Four persons were killed on the spot and two others seriously injured when a passenger bus and a CNG-run auto- rickshaw collided head-on in Katalbari area of Kendua upazila under Netrakona district today.
Police and witnesses said, the bus was heading towards Kendua upazila town from Atarobari area and hit the auto-rickshaw, which was coming from opposite direction, killing it’s four passengers and injuring two others.
The deceased could not be identified immediately. A police team from Kendua upazila police station rushed to the scene soon after the accident and recovered the bodies from the spot and sent those to Netrakona sader hospital morgue.
The police team with the help of local people also sent three injured persons to Kendua Upazila Health Complex.
Later, attending doctors of the health complex shifted the injured to Mymensing Medical College Hospital.
Police seized the bus but they could not capture it’s driver as he managed to escape.
