DHAKA, Aug 30, 2018 (BSS) – Agriculture Minister Begum Matia Chowdhury today said the anti-liberation forces are out to hatch conspiracies afresh to impede the pace of development of the country.
“When the country is witnessing development in every sector, the anti-liberation forces are hatching conspiracies anew to thwart the trend of development,” he told a discussion marking the National Mourning Day at the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC) auditorium at the Farmgate here.
Matia urged all to be united to resist the conspiracies of anti-liberation forces to continue the pace of development to help build a Sonar Bangla as dreamt by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Bangladesh Agricultural Economists Association (BAEA) organized the discussion while Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor addressed it as special guest.
BAEA President and Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Secretary Sajjadul Hassan chaired the function while Professor Emeritus of Bangladesh Agricultural University MA Sattar Mandal and BAEA General Secretary Professor M Qamruzzaman, among others, addressed it.
