JS body for logical price for LNG
DHAKA, Aug 30, 2018 (BSS) – The parliamentary standing committee on Power, Energy and Mineral Resources today recommended for taking necessary steps to fix the quantity of LNG import and logical price in the industrial sector.
The recommendation was made at its 45th meeting with chairman of the committee M Tajul Islam in the chair.
The committee also recommended for taking necessary measures to make BAPEX stronger and capable for exploration of gas and digging of wells.
Committee members Whip M Atiur Rahman Atiq, Shibli Sadik and Nasima Ferdousi attended the meeting.
The meeting was also informed that a probe committee has been formed to investigate into the coal stocks in the Barapukuria Coal Mining Company Limited.
Mineral Resources Division Secretary, officials of the ministry and concerned senior officials were present at the meeting.
