Indian markets close lower
MUMBAI, Aug. 29 (BSS/Xinhua) — Indian markets closed lower Wednesday.
Consolidation has continued on the market throughout the morning and the
noon session as well.
Losses in IT, infrastructure, energy, and FMCG names are being offset by
metals, PSU banks and automobiles.
The benchmark S&P, BSE Sensex closed at 38,722.93, 173.70 points or 0.45
percent down compared to its previous close at 38,896.63.
