Two motorcyclists killed in Nilphamari road crash
RANGPUR, Aug 28, 2018 (BSS) – Two youths were killed in a road accident at Garagram Bahari Petrol Pump point on the Paglapeer-Dalia road under Kishoreganj upazila in Nilphamari today, police said.
“The deceased are Amin Ali, 22, of village Paschim Doliram Boitpara and his friend Rifat Hossain, 20, of village Purbo Doliram under Kishoreganj upazila in Nilphamari district,” Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) of Kishoreganj Thana Mofizul Haque told BSS tonight.
The accident occurred when a private car and the motorcycle carrying the victims collided head-on there from the opposite directions at 5.30 pm, leaving both of them dead on the spot.
‘Local people held the private car and its driver and handed them over to Kishoreganj Thana police,’ Mofizul Haque said, adding that a case was filed in this connection.
