Bangladeshi wrestlers suffer shock in Asian Games defeat
DHAKA, Aug 19, 2018 (BSS)- Bangladesh finished badly in the wrestling
event of the Asian Games as the two wrestlers — Mohammad Ali Amzad and
Sharat Chandra Roy — made their shocking exit after losing respective
opponents on Sunday.
Amzad lost to Iranian wrestler Mostafa Hossain Khani by 10-0 points in
men’s 74th kg freestyle event while Sharat lost to Afghan wrestler Fakiri
Abdullah by 11-0 points in the men’s 86th kg freestyle event.
Women wrestler Shirin Sultana will compete in her 68 kg freestyle event on
Tuesday (August 21).
