DHAKA, Aug 19, 2018 (BSS) – A Dhaka court today granted bail to 16 students
of different private universities in two cases filed over launching attack on
law enforcers, obstructing government operations and vandalizing.
Dhaka metropolitan magistrate court passed the order, allowing bail to 10
in a case filed with Badda Police Station and six others in another case
filed with Bhatara Police Station.
The students who got bail are- Iftekhar Ahammed, Nur Mohammad, Jahidul
Haque, Hasan, Mushfikur Rahman, Rashedul Islam, Reza Rifat Akhlak, AHM Khalid
Reza, Torikul Islam, Redwan Ahammed, Sakhawat Hossain Nijhum, Azizul Karim
Antar, Mashad Mortuza Bin Ahad, Mehedi Hasan, Shihab Shahriar and Mehedi
Hasan.
The court granted them bail on Taka two thousand bonds each after hearing
arguments of both prosecution and defence.
