DHAKA, Aug 17, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh meteorological Department (BMD)
predicts light to moderate rain or thundershowers throughout country in next
24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty
wind is likely to occur at one or two places in Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram,
Sylhet, Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh and Dhaka divisions with moderately
heavy falls at some places over the country during the period,” said a met
office release here today.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, it added.
Country’s highest temperature on Thursday was recorded by 35.6 degree
Celsius at Srimangal and lowest temperature today was recorded by 24.2 degree
Celsius at Srimangal.
Highest rainfall for the last 24 hours till 6 am today was recorded by 68
millimeters (mm) at Srimangal.
The sunset at 6.30 pm today and rises at 5.35 am tomorrow in the capital.
