Better communication system improves life standard:Foreign Minister


RANGPUR, Nov 11, 2017 (BSS) – Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmud Ali, MP, on Friday said better communication system always contributes to improving socio-economic conditions and life standard of the common people.

The present government is working relentlessly to improve the communication system for welfare of the common people, Ali said while addressing a public rally on the occasion of inaugurating the constructing work of a bridge in Dinajpur yesterday as the chief guest.

The Foreign Minster inaugurated construction of the 175-metre long Bhiyail Bridge on the river Kankra at a cost of Taka 13.34 crore.

Narrating massive development activities conducted by the present government in recent years, Ali said the country is marching forward and no evil forces would be able to push back the nation behind.

“Hectic efforts of the BNP-Jamaat alliance will not be successful to hinder the country’s development process,” Ali said.

The Foreign Minsiter also said that Bangladesh wants a peaceful solution to the Rohingya issue.

With President of Bhiyail union Awami League (AL) Manindra Nath Roy in the chair, Chirirbandar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Golam Rabbani, President of upazila AL Aiyubur Rahman Shah and its General Secretary Ahsanul Haque Mukul, Executive Engineer of LGED for Dinajpur Khalilur Rahman, Upazila Vice-chairman Taru Bala Roy, Organising Secretary of union AL Azimuddin Golap, among others, addressed the rally.
