DHAKA, Aug 15, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)
predicts light to moderate rain or thundershowers throughout country in the
next 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty
wind is likely to occur at many places in Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram
divisions and at a few places in Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh and
Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at some places over the
country during the period,” a met office release said today.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it
added.
Country’s highest temperature on Tuesday was recorded by 36.3 degree
Celsius at Dhaka and lowest temperature today was recorded by 25 degree
celsius at Hatiya.
The highest rainfall for last 24 hours till 6 am today was recorded by 48
millimeters (mm) at Tangail.
The sunsets at 6.32 pm today and rises at 5.34am tomorrow in the capital.
