Speaker mourns death of journalist Golam Sarwar
DHAKA, Aug 13, 2018 (BSS) – Jatiya Sangsad Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury today expressed deep shock at the death of renowned journalist and Daily Samakal Editor Golam Sarwar.
In a condolence message, she prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Deputy Speaker Md Fazle Rabbi Miah and Chief Whip ASM Feroz also condoled the death of the eminent journalist.
Golam Sarwar died of various ailments at a Singapore hospital this evening after spending a 75 years of colorful life.
He left behind his wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of admirers and relatives.
