Govt. officials urged to discharge duties with honesty
NARSINGDI, August 13, 2018 (BSS) – Speakers at a discussion here stressed
the need for discharging duties of government officials with honesty and
sincerity to make “Sonar Bangla” as dreamt by Father of the Nation
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The observation came at the discussion attended by district level
government officials and local journalists held at Deputy Commissioner’s
conference room on Sunday afternoon with the slogan of “take oath to love the
country, give up the corruption”.
Director General (Investigation) of Anti-Corruption Commission Mohammad
Mostafizur Rahman addressed as the chief guest at the function organised by
district administration.
With Additional Deputy Commissioner Shaiful Islam in the chair, the
function was addressed, among others, by Deputy Director at Local Government
Division ATM Mahabubul Karim, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Abdul
Awal, ACC Deputy Director, Co-ordinated District Office, Dhaka-2 Mohammad
Morshed Alam, Additional Superintendent of Narsingdi Police Jakir Hasan and
President of district Anti Corruption Committee Prof. Surjakanta Das.
The chief guest said the present government is firmly committed to stamping
out corruption from the country.
He sought cooperation from all including government officials and
journalists to eliminate corruption.
