BNP wanted to cash on students’ movement: Nanak

DHAKA, Aug 12, 2018 (BSS):-Bangladesh Awami League joint-secretary Jahangir
Kabir Nanak today alleged that BNP leader Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury wanted
to capture power by cashing on in students’ safe road movement.

To this end, he said, BNP took Jubodol and Chhatra dak workers to streets
in Dhaka and they carried out attacks on Awami League party office in the
capital and also in various other places.

Bangabandhu Parishad and Shadinata Chikitshok parishad Birdem unit
arranged the discussion marking the National Mourning Day.

`Nanak said `BNP-Jamaat wanted to get dividend from the Shapla Chattor
demonstration, BDR munity, quota movement, safe road demonstration and others
agitations,” he told, speaking at the discussion as the chief guest.

Nanak said, they (BNP-Jamat) are the patrons of anti-liberation forces and
the August 15 brutal killings. He urged the physicians to build unified
resistance against them.

Chaired by Professor Mir Nazrul Islam, the discussion was addressed, among
others, by Professor AK Azad, Molla, Md. Abu Kowsar, Professor Rashid-E-
Mahbub, Professor Jafor A Latif, Professor Abdus Salam, Dr. Purobi Rani
Debnath and Md. Imran Hossain.
